(And there's a flat spot on that as well.) There is some serious paint chipping on the wheel.Īnd what I suspect is zinc pest on the inside of the wheel.Īnd all over inside, and bad rusting on the drive shaft and the pin holding the drive wheel/tire on. I guess I'll just have to keep oiling it until it stays freed up. I put a drop of oil on the more obvious spots and it immediately loosened up a bit, but after a little wait it seized up again. The wheel would turn by hand but it didn't move the needle bar. The power switch is frozen in the off position (plus I think there may be a broken connection inside) so I can't run it. But don't tip the case or turn it on it's side or they go all over. The attachments fit under the free arm when the case is folded up. Still don't know what the attachments are, other than the 4 cams (plus one in the machine. Well, I guess we don't communicate as well as we could, because we couldn't decide what they were, but if the machine went for cheep, cheep, we don't lose much if the attachments are no good. I called my wife to try to describe the attachments and whether they would fit her Featherweight. Saw a green sewing machine under the table at an auction last night.
